What is ACM ICPC?

The ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is a multi-tier, team-based programming competition operating under the auspices of ACM and headquartered at Baylor University. The contest involves a global network of universities hosting regional competitions that advance teams to the ACM-ICPC World Finals.

Participation has grown to several tens of thousands of the finest students and faculty in computing disciplines from more than 2 thousand universities from over 91 countries on six continents. The contest fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation in building new software programs, and enables students to test their ability to perform under pressure.

Quite simply, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world.

Where is the 2019 ACM-ICPC Northeast Regional?

The Northeast Regional is hosted by Hamilton College on Saturday, October 26, 2019.

When is registration?

Early registration is open until October 12, 2019 for all schools to register one team. Multiple teams from a single school can be entered; however space is limited and reserved for a single team from a school first. Additional teams will be accepted during Extended Registration if space permits.

Extended registration will begin October 13, 2019 and close on October 24, 2019. During this extended period, if there is room available, multiple teams from a school will be accepted.

How many teams can compete?

Hamilton College can support 24 teams. Registration is open for one team per school during the initial registration period that ends on October 12, 2019. Once early registration ends available spots will be opened for multiple teams from a single school until the team limit has been reached.

What is the cost of attendance of the 2018 ACM ICPC Regional at Hamilton College?

There is a $75 registration fee for each team to attend the ICPC Regional at Hamilton College.

What is the deadline to sign up for the ICPC Regional at Hamilton College?

October 12, 2019 for early registration.

Where will the Programming Contest be located?

The Programming Contest will be held in the Taylor Science Center (follow the link and click on the Taylor Science Center from the list on the left).

What is the Programming Contest environment?
